Sports Management Short Course
The Sports Management Short Course at Boston City Campus gives you a practical introduction to how the sports industry works in South Africa. It is designed to build quick, job ready skills for entry level roles in sports clubs, community programmes and sports organisations.
You study the basics of sports sociology, sports medicine and injuries, marketing and sponsorship, club administration, coaching fundamentals, sports psychology, nutrition and event support. The course helps you understand how sport is managed on and off the field and prepares you for assistant level roles in operations, administration or community sport.
This programme is offered by Boston City Campus in the distance mode of education with support provided at Learner Support Centres. Apply to register at any Boston City Campus Learner Support Centre nationwide.

*Formative Assessments are undertaken and the highest grade achieved in Formative Assessment is retained. The final grade is based on the Summative Assessment only. A maximum of one (1) additional supplementary assessment opportunity is provided for the Summative Assessment, which will be charged for.
