The Principles of Database Programming Short Learning equips learners with foundational and practical database programming skills. It introduces data analysis concepts, the Structured Query Language (SQL), and database technologies through applied learning.

A practical project develops problem-solving, database design understanding, and real-world application skills. The programme prepares learners for further study or entry-level roles requiring database logic, structured data handling, and SQL competence.

Entry Requirements

Boston Short Learning Programme Introduction to Programming or equivalent credential.

Principles of Database Programming is offered by Boston City Campus Head Office in the distance e-learning mode of provision, with all Boston City Campuses operating as Support Centres. Register at any of the forty-seven (47) Boston City Campus Support centres countrywide.

All modules are compulsory and must be passed.

*Formative Assessments are undertaken and the highest grade achieved in Formative Assessment is retained. The final grade is based on the Summative Assessment only. A maximum of one (1) additional supplementary assessment opportunity is provided for the Summative assessment, which will be charged for.

**The requirements for completing Cisco supported modules, including hosting learning activities, assessments, and issuing completion certificates, are available on the Cisco Networking Academy platform.

On successful completion the learner will be issued a Boston Short Learning Programme Principles of Database Programming.
