If you have a Grade 10 Certificate, National Certificate (Vocational) 2, or Equivalent, this quick skills acquisition programme will prepare you in 6 months for a career in sports administration.

In this programme you will explore the business aspects of the sports industry and learn how to effectively manage a sport or fitness organisation. You will gain knowledge of essential business principles, such as the importance of a sports club constitution, the roles of office bearers, and strategies for recruiting and managing members. The programme is designed to make the world of sports club administration accessible and help you develop the skills needed to succeed in this industry.

Entry Requirements

Grade 10 Certificate; or National Certificate (Vocational) 2; or equivalent qualification OR alternatively Learners can apply for RPL entry into the programme from the Academic Committee at Boston Head Office.

This programme is offered by Boston City Campus in the distance mode of education with support provided at Learner Support Centres. Apply to register at any Boston City Campus Learner Support Centre nationwide.

All modules are compulsory and must be passed.

Ito RPL, on successful completion the Learner may apply for admission to a Boston Short Learning Programme or an Occupational Qualification which has a Grade 11 Certificate or equivalent certification as the entry requirement.

Each submission is individually evaluated, hence neither admission nor advanced placement is assured.

*Formative Assessments are undertaken and the highest grade achieved in Formative Assessment is retained. The final grade is based on the Summative Assessment only. A maximum of one (1) additional supplementary assessment opportunity is provided for the Summative Assessment, which will be charged for.
