Computer Technician Short Course
The Computer Technician Short Course trains you to diagnose, repair and maintain computers and related devices. It covers the technical skills required to support individuals, businesses and organisations that rely on reliable hardware and software.
You learn how to install components, troubleshoot faults, repair systems and keep equipment running smoothly. The course is aligned to the CompTIA A+ syllabus, giving you the option to sit for both international A+ exams. It is a six month skills programme for students.
This programme is offered by Boston City Campus in the distance mode of education with support provided at Learner Support Centres. Apply to register at any Boston City Campus Learner Support Centre nationwide.

*Formative Assessments are undertaken, and the highest grade achieved in Formative Assessment is retained. A maximum of one (1) additional supplementary assessment opportunity is provided for the Summative Assessment, which will be charged for.
OPTIONAL: Learners may elect to sit for the International CompTIA A+ exams, if they wish, in addition to the SLP requirements at Boston City Campus (VUE). These examination fees are excluded but charged at cost. Please note that certification requirements, Module names, and Exam Codes are subject to change, and such change is at the discretion of CompTIA.
Should the learner choose to sit for the two (2) International CompTIA A+ exams, then on successful completion of both, the Learner will be issued an A+ Credential Certificate from CompTIA (Internationally recognised).
