Event Planner Short Course
The Event Planner Short Course at Boston City Campus introduces you to the principles of event management and the role of an event planner within the South African events industry. You learn how events are planned, budgeted, coordinated and evaluated, and gain an understanding of how the events sector operates and supports a wide range of industries.
This course develops knowledge in event logistics, supplier coordination, basic advertising and project management. You learn how event concepts are taken from initial planning through to completion, supported by training in Windows-based applications used for administration and coordination.

*Formative Assessments are undertaken and the highest grade achieved in Formative Assessment is retained. The final grade is based on the Summative Assessment only. A maximum of one (1) additional supplementary assessment opportunity is provided for the Summative assessment, which will be charged for.
