Tourism Short Course

The Tourism Short Course at Boston City Campus prepares you for roles across South Africa’s tourism and travel industry. It builds the knowledge and practical skills needed to assist travellers, support tourism operations and understand the destinations and experiences that define the sector.

You study South African and regional tourism geography, key attractions and how the tourism value chain functions. You also develop customer service skills that help you assist travellers professionally and manage enquiries with confidence. The online study format strengthens your digital literacy and your ability to work with the tools used in modern tourism workplaces.
