Networking Professional is a short course designed for learners who want to progress into advanced networking roles within enterprise and infrastructure-driven environments.

Practical skills development covers network security, enterprise networking, infrastructure configuration, and troubleshooting, alongside hybrid server administration and advanced configuration work in professional networking contexts.

Progression pathways include senior networking positions, infrastructure support roles, and further professional certification study aligned to enterprise networking and hybrid server environments.

All modules are compulsory and must be passed.

*Formative assessments are undertaken and the highest grade achieved is retained. A maximum of one (1) additional supplementary assessment opportunity is provided for the Summative Assessment, which will be charged for.

**The requirements for completing Cisco-supported modules, including hosting learning activities, assessments, and issuing completion certificates, are available on the Cisco Networking Academy platform.

Learners complete formative and summative assessments aligned to each module. Formative assessments support learning progress, while results are based on summative assessment performance.

Learners may elect to sit for selected international Cisco and Microsoft certification examinations in addition to the Short Learning Programme requirements at Boston City Campus. Examination fees are excluded and charged at cost.

Please note that certification requirements, module names, and exam codes are subject to change at the discretion of Cisco and Microsoft.

Available certification pathways may include:

Certified Network Professional Enterprise Credential Certificate from Cisco (CCNP: internationally recognised)
Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate Certificate (internationally recognised)

Learners are encouraged to consider complementary Short Learning Programmes to strengthen their networking, infrastructure, and systems administration foundations, and to support progression into advanced enterprise networking and professional IT certification pathways.
