Although the banking sector strike was halted by the courts last week, experts say it highlighted how automation and artificial intelligence continue to impact business and employment.
The World Economic Forum estimates digitisation could displace 75 million jobs by 2022 as companies will restructure labour and use machines more. This is already putting pressure on professionals to advance their skills.
